What will you learn in the individual classes?

Program layout:  2-3* Smaller Hands-On classes, to help you learn: 

  • Incorporating methods you learned in Large Group Class(es)
  • Repetition and verbal cueing
  • We work together to help new methods become second nature
  • Train your Caregiver or Family member on how to keep reinforcing new methods
  • Assessment to keep track of progress
  • Incorporating Safer ways to exercise and challenge your balance
  • Optional balance and/or cognition assessment
  • Opportunity to work 1:1 and ask OT related questions
  • Ongoing assessment and “check-in”
  • Because your body is changing, it is recommended that you have a refresher with your balance and cognition reassessed (optional) on an annual basis.  This includes the option to sit in on a Large Group Class and up to 2 smaller classes.
